Today marks the 100th anniversary of the legendary Soviet and Russian composer, author of many popular songs, People’s Artist of the Russian Federation- Alexander Zatsepin.

The solemn concert will take place on the historical stage of the Bolshoi Theater, where artists of different generations perform: Evgeny Mironov, Sergey Shakurov, Natalia Varley, Konstantin Khabensky, Fyodor Bondarchuk, Dima Bilan, Nikolai Baskov, Anton Belyaev, Yulia Peresild, Evgeny Tkachuk, Lisa Bazykina, Maria Mironova, Irina Pegova, Ildar Abdrazakov, Hibla Gerzmava, Ivan Bessonov, Igor Butman, Ilya Papoyan, participants and winners of the Blue Bird

People’s Artist of the USSR, composer Alexandra Nikolaevna Pakhmutova also took part in the concert.

Throughout the evening, Alexander Zatsepin will be on stage, where the composer’s most famous works will be performed by Russian pop stars and the Youth Symphony Orchestra of Russia conducted by People’s Artist of the USSR Yuri Bashmet.

The hosts of the evening are Daria Zlatopolskaya and Andrey Malakhov.
