On December 9, the Russian Concert Agency’s official VKontakte page will host a live broadcast of the world premiere of Valery Voronov’s Requiem of the Forgotten.

The concert will be held on Heroes of the Fatherland Day at the Tchaikovsky Concert Hall. This evening, poems by poets who went through the Great Patriotic War will be performed: Konstantin Simonov, Boris Pasternak, Rasul Gamzatov, Yuri Levitansky, and Requiem itself will become the voice of those whose names were taken away by time, but whose sacrifice is forever inscribed in history.

Yuri Bashmet, People’s Artist of the USSR, will stand at the conductor’s desk of the Youth Symphony Orchestra of Russia.
