Today we are sharing photos from the Tchaikovsky Concert Hall, where the Reflections concert was held yesterday as part of the VII Winter International Yuri Bashmet Art Festival.

This performance combined and collided what everyone is used to seeing “on different sides” of the footlights, backstage, eras and genres: letters and music by Beethoven and Tchaikovsky, live voices of actors — and the legendary voices of Vasily Kachalov and Maria Babanova from the phonograms of the past, excerpts from monologues by Goethe, Shakespeare, poems by T. Elliot — and the “dialogues of the audience”, theatrical and symphonic melodrama and ballet, solo piano and orchestra, are striking in their banality.

The evening was attended by: actors Mikhail Porechenkov, Svetlana Kryuchkova, Evgeny Tkachuk, Nikita Vysotsky, Anastasia Skorik, Premier and prima ballerina of the Bolshoi Theater Denis Rodkin and Eleonora Sevenard, Boris Berezovsky (piano)
