Gala concerts of the Put’ Tchaikovskogo project in 2025 will be shown for the first time on the Rossiya-Kultura TV channel

Starting on October 28, the Rossiya-Kultura TV channel will show premieres of the Put’ Tchaikovskogo program in four parts and TV versions of concerts held as part of Maestro Yuri Bashmet’s project of the same name to mark the 185th anniversary of Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky.

“Put’ Tchaikovskogo«» – This is a project dedicated to the life and work of Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, in which large-scale concerts with the participation of stars of academic art are held in places associated with the life and work of the great composer.: Konstantin Khabensky, Olga Litvinova, Sergey Garmash, Evgeny Mironov, Sergey Shakurov, Marina Alexandrova, Andrey Merzlikin, Polina Agureeva, Vasily Bochkarev, Peter Fedorov, Yuri Bashmet, Valeria Abramova (violin), Pavel Milyukov (violin), Alexander Ramm (cello), Olga Beloglazova (cello), Semyon Solomatnikov (trumpet), Fedora Osver (oboe), Ramili Baymukhamedova (soprano), Nikolai Zemlyanskikh (baritone) and others.

From October 28 to October 31, parts of the documentary “Put’ Tchaikovskogo” will be shown before each concert at 17:30. Presenter Alexander Malich will visit places associated with different periods of Tchaikovsky’s life and work. Maestro Yuri Bashmet will talk about his perception of Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky’s music, about his vision of the composer’s life and fate, and about his Sixth Symphony.

The premieres of the TV versions of the concerts will be held from October 28 to November 1.:

October 28, 17:55 — gala concert from the Pleshcheyevo estate (Podolsk)

October 29, 17:55 — premiere of the opera “Iolanta”, held at the Demyanovo Estate (Klin)

October 30, 17:55 — Dedication to Moscow Gala concert at the Zaryadye Park Grand Amphitheater

October 31, 17:55 — gala concert at the estate of the Princes of Georgia (Vladimir region)

November 1, 17:35 — TV version of the concert from the Great Hall of the Philharmonic. The Put’ Tchaikovskogo project completed by Shostakovich in St. Petersburg. It was here that Tchaikovsky conducted the premiere of the Sixth Symphony 132 years ago.

The first part of the documentary and the gala concert from the Pleshcheyevo estate will be shown 28 of October at 17:30 on the Rossiya-Kultura TV channel.
